The quality of most of the education is pretty good but you have to really push through the temptation to stop and talk as most classes in the younger years there are students that don't understand the consequences of their constant talking. The rules about the uniform are rather strict but there are many who don't listen about the warnings. Only one set of piercings for girls in the lobes are allowed, a signet ring, a necklace with a cross and a silver or gold bracelet are allowed. No rats tails or mullets allowed. The form of punishment is an afternoon detention for things such as not returning notes on time, misplacing assignments and being a constant disruption in class. Sport detention is for those who don't participate or don't bring hats and wear volleyball style shoes. No ballet flats. Japanese is compulsory in year seven but can be elected in years nine and up. Japanese is currently the only language available but with persistent effort most students can easily get 90% and above in their results. Religion is compulsory for all years, including eleven and twelve. The teachers and principal are friendly and polite, but only toward students who return the same level of politeness. Bullying isn't tolerated and the principal personally attends to situations to ensure they do not occur again. The school has a very community based focus and both religious and non-religious students are welcomed. School fees are cheap in comparison to the grammar school in Scone, however, the uniform is rather pricey if you decide to buy all you need at the beginning. Blazers are compulsory from years ten and up. Senior students aren't allowed to go on excursions if they don't have their blazer. Any students wearing the wrong aspect of the uniform when going on an excursion aren't allowed to go. Mostly every term students are treated to a community day where the school goes out of uniform (most times but not all) and the SRC of each class operates a stall of the classes choosing. Proceeds from these days go toward school improvements, the local community, those suffering from illness and charities. The only things that really need improving are the relationships between the rebellious teenagers of the school (only a select few per class) and allowing more freedom when it comes to the school uniform. Every year around Christmas the school holds the pageant where the community joins the school and it's basically a festival of sorts. A huge stage is hired where music and acrobatic acts perform and stalls, an animal farm and a jumping castle are provided. It's fun for students, teachers and the community. Students come from a wide range of backgrounds and are each given a fair go - as long as they're willing to take it. Elective Japanese students get priority over non-elective students when it comes to applying for the annual year eleven trip to Japan. Originally French was taught, however, over the course of the past three years Japanese was introduced and French was cut out. For senior students there are careers days and other trips to help plan for their futures. This year the musical is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a mash-up of the original and modern versions.

I definitely go here and I just love the quality of the library and the books. I just dont really like how sport is compulsry. I love learning about Jesus because he is such a great role model for me. I am giving it 4 stars because of the sport and because people are mean to me sometimes on the fieldwhen i drop the tennis racket because its slippery! but it is the best plas evr. Its probablee the best skool I hav ever bean two.
